Archaic Art & Design - whispers from the forests of Finland

After 20 years of doing handcraft from materials that Finnish forests offer, Hanna Aro-Heinilä decided to create a home for her design to be able to share, respect her roots & lifestyle in the Finnish Archipelago. The materials that she uses are ethical: carefully chosen wood comes from her husband´s logbuilding company Hirsitikka Oy. Bone & Antler material is hunted by herself from the Island Livonsaari. It is important to hunt sustainably and with gratitude towards the catches. Forests offer also different kinds of roots to weave & branches. They are gently collected to bring the mythical forest to your living room.
